Sandra Lynn Umstead

Sandra Lynn Umstead, 61, of Phoenix, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday July 27, 2019.

She enjoyed her career as a supervisor for ICM Controls and was known for her dedication and hard work.

Sandra loved her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Kitty Grandma” due to her love of cats.

She enjoyed visiting casinos and could be found watching Nascar every Sunday.

She is survived by her daughter, Casey (Chris) Ouzts; her sisters, Nancy (Ronald) Hardter and Linda (Thomas) Bowersox; her grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden and Bryce; several nieces and nephews; and her cats, Mitty and Baby.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, from 4 – 7 p.m., at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.

Burial services will be held Saturday, 9 a.m. at the Phoenix Rural Cemetery.

Margaret A. White

Margaret A. White, 95, of Fulton, passed away at
Morningstar Care Center, Oswego, NY on Tuesday
July 9, 2019. Born in Baldwinsville, NY on June 29, 1924.
Margaret was a homemaker. She was employed at Plainville Turkey Farm.
A member of Cody Fire Dept. Auxiliary “Push Ball” competitor;
belonged to the Home Bureau; had a passion for cooking and
baking; loved to sew, enjoyed nature, flowers, birds, and
animals; worked at the Jacksonville Cemetery for many years.
She also enjoyed automobile rides and dining out.
Predeceased by her loving husband of nearly 74 years,
Myron E. White; a daughter Lois Torrez; two grandsons Jerry
Hamilton and Brian Dunbar; her parents Estelle (Suits) and
Farhan H. L. Brown; a brother James Brown; two sisters
Fern Anthony and Emma Potts
Surviving are her children Constance M. Virginia, June
(Cork) Sanderson, James (Freida) White; Nancy (Jerry)
Hamilton; Cathy White, and Ellen (David) Wilson; 18 grand
children; several great-great grandchildren; nieces and
nephews; many friends.
Graveside services only are on Friday July 12, 2019 at
10 a.m. in Jacksonville Cemetery, 9250 Fenner Rd., town
of Lysander, NY.

Robert C. Morris, Jr.

Robert C. Morris, Jr. “Bob”, “Rob” to his family,
of Pennellville, passed away on July 2, 2019.
He lost the battle with cancer. Born May 29, 1956.
He was 63. He is now jamming away with Jerry Garcia.
Bob graduated F-M high school and went to SU for a
time. Bob worked as an Electrical Engineer at SSAC,
ABB as well as Unimar.
Bob was predeceased by his mother Betty Jane,
father Robert, and Mom Phyllis, also his sister
Jane Anne Morris, and son Jason B. Bell.
Bob will be sorely missed by wife Barbara Morris,
brother Chuck Froelich, brother Rick Froelich and
wife Linda, and sister Barbara Szymanski and husband
David. His wife Barb’s siblings will also miss him
greatly. Also, several amazing nieces and nephews
as well as great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
There will be no services. A “Celebration of Life” will
be announced on Facebook by sister-in- law, Lauri Cromp.
Donations in his memory may be made to a charity
of Choice.
