Marjorie W. Johnson

Marjorie W. Johnson, 87, of Phoenix, NY, passed away
at her daughter’s home on Wednesday Dec. 26, 2018.
Born in Hannibal to her late parents, Helen (Wells) and
Leslie Wilcox on April 21, 1931. She was a Fulton High
School graduate, class of 1949.
Marjorie was a dental assistant for Morton E. Fine, DDS,
Baldwinsville. She was a 60 year plus member of the
Phoenix United Methodist Church where she was the recent
choir director. She love her music so very much. It was so
important to her throughout her life. Marjorie was active
in U.M.W. and other capacities of the church. She was
predeceased by her husband William H. Johnson
on Oct. 31, 1998.
Surviving are her daughter and husband, Cynthia J. “Cindy”
and Charles “Charlie” Smith of Phoenix; her grandsons
Cody Smith, Travis Smith, and Clint Smith; her great-
grandchildren Karen and Doug Smith; two sisters,
Kathleen Wilcox, and Dauri (James) Burdekin all of Fulton;
several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pearl June Evans

Pearl June Evans, 93, former Pennellville and Phoenix resident,
passed away at St. Luke Health Health Svcs., Oswego,on Saturday
December 1, 2018. Born to her late parents Lillian (Carlton) and
Leon Jones on July 29, 1925 in the Happy Valley Hamlet, NY,
the Albion township side.
Pearl was a longtime employee of McMillan Book Co., Syracuse,
Syracuse, and later for Syrocco Co., in Van Buren.
Surviving are her two sons, Charles (Joyce) Parkhurst of Fulton,
David (Nancy) Parkhurst of Pennellville; a daughter Judy (Norm)
Richardson of Maple View; several grand, great-grand, and
great-great grandchildren; two half sisters Leona LaRock and
Pat Brockett; two step-brothers Ken and Ray Pepper; several
nieces, nephews, cousins.
Graveside services only are at 11 a.m. on Wednesday Dec. 5,
2018 in Pennellville Cemetery, Co. Rt. 54, Pennellville with
Pastor Mary Johnson officiating.
