  1. To the family of nephews and nieces of Laura Post Thompson.
I pass along my sympathy on your loss. I noted her husband
Walter Pixley Thompson predeceased her in 1994. In 1980, I
worked with Walter as a messenger for Chase Manhattan Bank
operations center. I was 21 years old. Walter showed me the ropes for walking over to the MONY Tower to pick up paperwork for the ops ctr. He was Mr. Personality. The Chairman of the Board. He always wore a hat. On Friday’s, at work days end, he would have a drink with us at Danzer’s restaurant on S. Warren Street. They would have out scrimp cocktail at happy hour. I only worked six months with him before enrolling at LeMoyne College.
I know he and Laura shall be together now in heaven. God Bless.
