  1. I called my dear friend, Phyllis, last Sat., & left a message saying I would try later. Later never came it seems………shocked to see her obituary in Syr. paper this a.m. Last saw her in August when visiting family in Cicero. She/I were childhood friends………loved her dearly………also her parents, sister & brother Jun……….don’t know the younger boys but want to express my deepest heartfelt sympathy to her family. She was a wonderful gal and, of course, soooo very talented. I was always trying to promote her art commercially. To me her work was extraordinary and should have been seen by the entire world. I know she is with her beloved Ernie/family, happy and at peace now and that her earthly ills and troubles are over……..for that I know the ones she left behind are grateful. Rest in peace, old friend. You will be sooooooo missed.
