Natalie Alton

Natalie Alton, 84, of Pennellville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning June 26, 2013. A native of Oswego, NY, Natalie live in the State of New Jersey, Manlius, NY, and Atlanta, GA, before retiring to Pennellville. She was a staple in the community. She was a ready volunteer with various organizations, and was an active member of the Red Hat Society. An exquisite cook, and dedicated gardener, Natalie put love and passion into everything she did. She was an enchanting woman who graced the world with her kind and sweet nature.

She is survived by her loving family, sons, Richard (Lisa) Alton, and Mark Alton; grandchildren Greg (Beth) and Catherine (Jonathan); a sister, Bernadette Capeling (Clint); a great-granddaughter; along with many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by a brief prayer service at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, located at 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CNY SPCA, 5878 East Molloy Road, Syracuse, NY 13211.

  1. Natalie was a great neighbor and we’ll miss her. She was always so friendly and when she was able to walk our road, she always took that extra few minutes to stop and visit us in the front lawn. The world was a better place with Natalie in it. Our sincerest sympathy to all the family. Our prayers for comfort are with you. The Klines
